Depending on the level of finish desired the Weekend Dinghy kit will require an additional $150-350 for paint, epoxy, hardware and fasteners and a small amount of lumber for rubrails and seat re-inforcements. The Weekend Trainer sailrig parts include all the plywood parts needed to build the rudder, tiller, daggerboard and trunk, and mast step and partner. Plans are included for building a mast from lumberyard materials and having a sail made. If you are not sure that you are ready to tackle a full-sized boat, we also cut a 1/4 scale model of the Weekend Dinghy. It includes all the parts of the full size kit, and can be assembled with epoxy fillets like the real boat, or using a hot-glue gun. The model includes 1/4 scale computer-cut versions of all the parts in the full-size kit, full instructions, and cable ties for assembly.
