By 9 o'clock Saturday morning most of the families were busily at work, and their first job was to turn their hulls over. The ties were cut, the panel edges rounded over, and two layers of fiberglass tape were applied to the seams. The hulls were moved into the sun to speed up the epoxy cure, and the families had time to eat lunch and enjoy the Show.

After the lunch break the boats were turned right-side up and the rubrails, stern knees, and breasthooks were installed. Some folks even had time for a sealer coat of epoxy.
