Early on Sunday morning oarlocks were installed and the last of the details were taken care of, and most of the boats got a final sealer coat of epoxy. A little after 11 am the parade of boats started down the path from the building field to the bulkhead, and after a few encouraging words from Carl Cramer of WoodenBoat and Joe Youcha of the Alexandria Seaport Foundation, the boats were launched on the count of three.
